Korean Food Court

Domestic Terminal Open · 06:30-20:00 ★ 3 $$$$

Locals hit the 4F Korean Food Court before domestic flights

On the 4th floor of the Domestic Terminal, Korean Food Court runs roughly 06:30–20:00 and functions as Gimpo’s sit-down meal zone before short hops to places like Jeju. Prices land in the mid-range ($$), cheaper than most hotel restaurants in the city but higher than convenience-store kimbap downstairs. If you want a proper bowl of noodles or rice instead of a snack box on a 50-minute domestic leg, this level is where you go.

The setup is a food-court cluster under names like Daecheong Maru, with Korean, Chinese-style stir-fries, dumplings, udon, and noodle stands all sharing common seating. You order at individual stalls, pay first, then wait for your buzzer or tray call; most dishes sit in the ₩9,000–₩14,000 range. Think jjajangmyeon, donkatsu, kimchi jjigae, and big steel bowls of soup rather than Western fast food.

Rating averages around 3 out of 5, so think “solid airport meal,” not destination dining. Broths tend to be salty and portions generous, which works well if you’re about to board a 1-hour Gimpo–Busan or Gimpo–Ulsan flight with minimal service. A Trip.com reviewer said it’s worth “5 minutes before boarding” to get a hearty plate here instead of relying on the snack cart.

Regulars time it. Korean bloggers note that lunch (12:00–13:30) and dinner (18:00–19:30) can mean queues at Daecheong Maru and the noodle counters, with short waits just to grab a table. Frequent domestic flyers aim for mid-afternoon, roughly 16:00–17:00, when you can sit down quickly and still be at the gate 20–30 minutes before boarding.

Tip: if your flight departs from a Domestic gate on a tight schedule, head up to the 4F Korean Food Court as soon as you clear security, eat, then walk back down; budget 10–15 minutes round-trip so you’re not sprinting when boarding starts.
