Schoenefeld Bar

T2

Gate-side drinks in T2

Schoenefeld Bar sits airside in Terminal T2 at Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, a short walk from most non-Schengen gates. It functions as a classic airport bar: counter seating, a handful of tables, and a quick beer before boarding. Expect mostly bottled and draft European lagers plus standard spirits, with prices in the 20–35 PLN range for a beer or basic mixed drink.

The bar opens early to catch morning departures from T2, with service typically starting around the first bank of flights and running through the last evening departures. That makes it one of the few places in this terminal where you can grab an alcoholic drink at 07:00 or still sit with a nightcap after a 21:30 delay. Coffee and soft drinks are available all day for roughly 10–18 PLN.

Food is simple bar fare, geared around quick prep so you can be in and out in under 25 minutes. Expect sandwiches, light snacks, and packaged sweets, usually priced in the 15–35 PLN bracket. It’s fine for a bite with a beer before a LOT or Ryanair flight from T2, but this is not a long sit-down meal spot. If you’re hungry-hungry, treat it as a stopgap before or after eating in T1’s slightly broader options.

Seating runs along the bar plus a small number of tables, so during the 05:30–08:30 and 16:00–19:00 peaks, every second stool tends to be taken by people on short-haul runs to Warsaw, Oslo, or London. Power outlets are limited, usually only a couple near the wall seats, so don’t count on charging a laptop here during a tight layover.

Practical tip: order and pay in one go at the counter, then keep an eye on the single overhead departures screen; boarding for T2 gates can start as little as 25 minutes before scheduled departure.
