Big Mac before boarding in T2
Right in Terminal T2, McDonald’s is the safest bet if you just want something you already know before your flight out of Gdańsk. It sits airside after security, so you can head straight here once you’re through the lanes and keep an eye on your gate screens while you eat.
Pricing tracks with city-center Polish McDonald’s, not the inflated “airport special,” so a basic meal usually lands in the 25–35 PLN range instead of the 45+ PLN you see at some European hubs. Card and contactless payments are standard, and you’ll see self-service kiosks as well as a traditional counter.
Service moves faster than most sit-down spots in T2, which matters if your boarding pass says “gate closes in 20 minutes.” Expect typical global items like Big Macs, McChicken, and fries, plus a rotating local or regional burger that sometimes only shows up on the Polish menu boards. Coffee quality sits above basic drip options in the terminal, and the McFlurry machines here are usually working.
Seating spills into the shared food court area in T2, so you might be eating at a common table next to people with LOT and Wizz Air boarding passes. Power outlets are limited in this zone, so don’t plan on charging a dead phone over your fries. Bathrooms are in the main concourse a short walk away, not inside the restaurant footprint.
Tip: if your flight from GDN boards via bus from T2, order to go about 30 minutes before departure so you can bring your bag of fries down to the ground-floor holding area without stressing the last call announcements.
