The Public Parking Garage at Guadalajara International (GDL) sits about 25 meters from Terminal 1, directly across from the main departures area. It’s the official airport structure and the discounted section is on the third level of the same building, not a separate lot. You grab a ticket at the regular entry gate, then follow signs or ramps up to level three before you park.

Daily rates in the third-level discounted area run $119 MXN per calendar day, compared with roughly $280 MXN per day in the standard sections of the garage. Same building, different price tier. This makes it one of the cheapest on-airport options at GDL for trips longer than a quick drop-off or a few hours of short-term parking.

The key detail: to lock in the $119 MXN rate, you need a second validation at the special device near the third-level entrance. Insert the same parking ticket you pulled at the main gate into this validator right as you enter the discounted zone. Skip that step and the system charges you the higher garage rate, closer to $280 MXN per day, when you pay at the machines.

Access is fully post-checkpoint in terms of walking time: from your car on level three to Terminal 1’s doors is usually under 5 minutes on foot, even with luggage. Terminal 2 is farther; plan at least 10–12 minutes to walk or factor in a quick shuttle or ride. Elevators and ramps connect all floors, so you’re not stuck on stairs with heavy bags.

Tip: Park on the third level, validate the ticket at the extra machine right away, and take a quick photo of your section number so you’re not hunting for your car when you land back at GDL.
