Inside GCM’s T1, you will not reliably find a branded Chicken! Chicken! Express with that 3.5-star reputation, so don’t bank your pre-flight meal on it. One FlyerTalk poster talks about “an excellent lunch at Chicken Chicken” and calls the standalone spot an “upscale facility” with limited parking, again clearly off-airport rather than post-security in Owen Roberts.

Figure about a 5–10 minute taxi drive from the airport to the Seven Mile Beach / George Town strip, then another 5–10 minutes back, plus check-in and security time at GCM T1.
