Gate-side drinks and Wi‑Fi, not dinner, in ANA’s Domestic Lounge

On the 2nd floor airside departure lobby after security in Fukuoka’s Domestic Terminal, the ANA Lounge runs from 06:00 until the last ANA departure and works best as a pre‑flight pit stop, not a full stop. Think drinks, Wi‑Fi and a seat near the gates, then board.

Access is limited: you need ANA Premium Class on a domestic flight or Star Alliance Gold status on an ANA‑operated departure the same day. If you’re on a cheap Economy ticket with no status, this one stays off limits and there’s no walk‑up paid entry at FUK listed. Check your boarding pass before you bother hunting for the lounge after security.

Food is the weak point. Regulars on ANA domestic runs say it’s usually light snacks only, far less substantial than international ANA lounges in places like HND or NRT. Expect packaged items at best, not a buffet you can turn into lunch, so plan to eat in the terminal restaurants first, then move here for drinks.

Drinks are the draw. You’ll usually find soft drinks and basic alcoholic options that easily beat paying bar prices in the public Domestic Terminal. Many frequent flyers grab a quick meal landside, clear security around 45–60 minutes before departure, then use this lounge for a final beer, soda, or coffee while charging devices.

There are no showers, no dedicated nap chairs, and no sleep facilities, as confirmed by SleepingInAirports’ Fukuoka notes. If you land early on a morning flight and connect later in the day, don’t expect a refresh stop here; book an airport hotel or head into Fukuoka city if you need a real break.

Seating is standard ANA domestic lounge style with power outlets scattered around, so laptop work is very doable for an hour. Wi‑Fi is free, faster than the main terminal in most reports, and stable enough for email, messaging apps, and airline calls before an evening departure to Tokyo or Osaka.

Practical tip: eat a proper meal in the Domestic Terminal before clearing security, then head to the 2nd‑floor ANA Lounge for drinks, Wi‑Fi, and charging 40–60 minutes before your scheduled domestic ANA departure.
