Car Park 0 sits right by T1 at Funchal
Car Park 0 is the short-stay option directly in front of Terminal 1 at Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport (FNC), so you walk to departures in roughly 2–4 minutes. It’s on-airport, flat surfaced, and signed as “P0 / Curta Duração” on the approach road.
This is the place for drop-offs, pick-ups, or trips under 24 hours, not long holidays. Stay lengths are normally billed in minutes or hours rather than days, and pricing ramps up fast if you push beyond 24–48 hours. If you’re parking for a week on a Madeira run, look at one of the longer-stay car parks instead and keep P0 for quick turns.
Car Park 0 serves all airlines using T1 – TAP Air Portugal, easyJet, Ryanair, Eurowings, and others flying into Madeira. Because FNC only has Terminal 1, there’s no shuttle bus or extra transfer time to factor in. Flight boards and check-in for every carrier sit within a short walk of the P0 pedestrian exit.
Being right at the terminal door, P0 fills first at peak times like Friday evenings, Sunday mornings, and bank holiday departures. Spaces are open-air, standard size, and laid out in straight rows, which makes it simpler to spot your car from the terminal frontage. Lighting runs across the main lanes at night, and pedestrian crossings link the rows straight to the departures curb.
Tip: If you’re just collecting someone off a TAP or easyJet arrival, aim for Car Park 0 and set a timer for 30–45 minutes from scheduled landing to cover taxi-in and baggage claim at T1.
