Gate-side tech stop in Terminal A

Just past security in Terminal A, Tech & Travel is one of the few spots at FDF where you can fix a dead phone before boarding. It sits in the main departures hall, steps from several A-gates, so you don’t have to wander far from your boarding area to grab last‑minute gear.

The shop focuses on travel electronics and accessories: charging cables, power banks, universal plug adapters, basic headphones, and a mix of phone cases for major brands. Prices run higher than downtown Fort‑de‑France, but still in normal airport territory, with small accessories starting around 10–15 EUR and power banks higher.

Opening hours generally track flight banks, with doors open from early morning departures through the last evening wave, roughly 06:00 to 20:00. That makes it a safe bet if you land on an early regional hop or head out on the late Paris flight from Terminal A.

Selection leans practical rather than premium audio or big tech names, so treat it as an emergency stop, not a full electronics store. You’ll find basics like USB-C and Lightning cables, but don’t count on niche laptop chargers or rare phone models.

Tip: check your cable and adapter situation at your hotel; if anything’s missing, plan a quick Tech & Travel run right after security instead of gambling on something near the gate at the last minute.
