Gate-side souvenirs in T1

Right in Terminal 1, Gifts & Souvenirs is the quick stop for grabbing something with “Roma” on it before your ITA or Schengen flight boards. It sits airside, so you only see it after T1 security, which makes it an easy last-minute pass-through on the way to gates.

Stock skews classic tourist gear: Fiumicino fridge magnets, Coliseum keychains, printed tote bags, and basic T-shirts with “Italia” or AS Roma graphics. Pricing runs a bit higher than central Rome shops; think roughly €7–€10 for small magnets and €15–€25 for shirts. You’re paying for airport convenience and not having to detour into the city.

The shop also carries simple gift items that pack easily in a carry-on, like small snow globes, mini statues of the Colosseum, and soft toys with Rome branding. Most of it fits under the EU cabin baggage liquid limits, and nothing here usually raises extra security questions at FCO screening or at second screening for US-bound flights.

If you want proper regional food products or higher-end Italian design, walk toward the bigger duty-free and specialty stores in Terminal 1 instead; Gifts & Souvenirs leans hard into logo merch over gourmet. Use it as your backup plan when you realize, at the gate in T1, that you forgot to pick up a Rome gift in the city.
