Gate-side snack stop in T1

Right in Terminal 1, Foodstore sits airside, so you hit it after security and before the Schengen gates. It’s a basic grab-and-go counter with coffee, drinks, and pre-made food, not a sit-down restaurant. Think of it as your last-minute supply point before boarding an ITA Airways or other Schengen flight out of T1.

Foodstore runs through the main daytime bank of departures in T1, typically opening early morning to catch 06:00–07:00 flights and staying open into the late evening rush. You’ll find the usual airport markup: expect a coffee around €2–3 and simple sandwiches in the €6–8 range. Card payments are standard here, including contactless, so you don’t need to dig for small euro coins at the till.

The food leans heavily on pre-packed panini, pastries, crisps, bottled water, and soft drinks, all within a short walk of most Terminal 1 gates. It works best for a quick espresso and a pastry before boarding, not for a long layover meal. If you want something more substantial, you may want to scout other Terminal 1 options closer to your specific gate number.

One practical tip: hit Foodstore right after security in T1, before you drift down to the tighter gate areas. Lines are shorter away from the immediate boarding zones, and you’ll walk to your gate only once, coffee and sandwich already in hand.
