LATAM VIP Lounge

A · 9 1k sqft showers

Upstairs by gate 9, this is usually oneworld’s best bet

The LATAM VIP Lounge sits on the upper level of Terminal A by gate 9 and is generally the nicest oneworld option at EZE, even if it feels basic next to the Centurion. It runs to around 568 m², so it’s not tiny, but during evening departure banks it fills and the noise level jumps fast.

Access is for LATAM and oneworld business class passengers and oneworld elites departing Terminal A; Delta One passengers and some Medallion elites on Delta also report entry here, sometimes with a “no guests” note printed on the invite. Check your boarding pass and any paper voucher before you ride the escalator up by gate 9 so you don’t waste time arguing at the desk.

The food setup matches the “cocktail type” description from LAN-era specs: think small hot bites, cold snacks, and sweets laid out buffet-style rather than a full restaurant. Snacks and beverages are generally rated “good, similar to LAN’s lounge” on FlyerTalk, but don’t come expecting made-to-order meals; if you want something heavier, eat in Terminal A’s public area before clearing security.

Drinks are stronger than the food: there’s an open bar with standard spirits, beer, and wine, plus soft drinks and coffee machines. Regulars mention the bar as the standout, so if you care about a proper pre-flight drink more than dinner, this beats the AA/Iberia joint lounge across from gate 9 for variety and self-pour ease.

The lounge layout focuses on rows of tables and mixed seating, with plenty of two-tops and armchairs when it’s quiet. There’s a small business center for work, Wi‑Fi that handles email and streaming in off-peak hours, and baggage lockers if you don’t want to drag a 23 kg suitcase to the buffet. Three showers are available, so put your name down on arrival during the evening rush.

Regular oneworld flyers often start here for a drink and a shower, then walk across the same upper level in Terminal A to check the AA/Iberia lounge or over to the Centurion if the LATAM room is standing-room only. Crowd spikes tend to align with LATAM long-hauls, so arriving 90–120 minutes before your flight gives you the best shot at a seat.

Practical tip: if you land from a US domestic connection and re-clear into Terminal A, head straight upstairs at gate 9 and add your name for a shower before you even sit down; the three cubicles back up fast after 18:00.
