Directly opposite the Amex Centurion, one floor above EZE Terminal A gates
Aerolineas Argentinas Salón Cóndor sits on the upper level of Terminal A’s international departures area, literally facing the Amex Centurion Lounge across the corridor. Access runs to SkyTeam business-class passengers and SkyTeam Elite Plus on departing international flights only, so you can’t use it on arrival. If your flight leaves from Terminal A, you’re about a 2–5 minute walk from most gates once you head back downstairs.
Hours track the long-haul banks out of Ezeiza, with Salón Cóndor generally open from early morning through the late-night departures to Europe and North America. One FlyerTalk regular calls the current food and beverage "2000% better" than a few years ago, which lines up with reports of a recent upgrade to hot items and better wines. Expect buffet-style snacks and light meals rather than made-to-order dishes, and treat it as a solid pre-flight top-up, not a full restaurant replacement.
Food quality lands in the "acceptable but nothing amazing" zone compared with big premium lounges in places like CDG or JFK, but Argentina shows up in the drinks. Both Salón Cóndor and the Centurion carry decent local wines, so pouring a Malbec before a 10–13 hour overnight to the US or Europe makes sense here. Coffee and soft drinks are self-serve, and you’ll usually find basics like sandwiches, pastries, and some hot trays during peak waves.
The big differentiator is crowd level: multiple FlyerTalk reports say Salón Cóndor stays noticeably calmer than the AA and Amex lounges during the evening departure bank around 19:00–23:00. That said, it still fills up when several long-haul SkyTeam flights push around the same time, so don’t expect empty chairs at 21:30 when Europe and US routes stack. If you hit it mid-afternoon or late morning, you’re more likely to find free seating and quieter corners.
Regulars with SkyTeam status often duck in here first, especially when the Centurion doorway downstairs shows a line of 10–20 people. They’ll grab a quick bite, a glass of wine, charge devices at the scattered power outlets, then head to the gate about 30 minutes before boarding starts. Most ignore the lounge entirely for short regional hops under 2 hours, heading straight to the gate after security in Terminal A.
Tip: If you’re choosing between Amex Centurion and Salón Cóndor and your SkyTeam flight leaves from Terminal A, check the crowd in front of Centurion; if you see a queue stretching more than 5–10 people, take the elevator or stairs up one level and walk straight into Salón Cóndor instead.
