Prebooked Private Transfer at Zvartnots (EVN) is a simple car service: a named driver waits landside at T2 arrivals with a sign, walks you to the car, and takes you into Yerevan in about 20 minutes for the roughly 12 km run into the city center. This is the low‑stress option when you don’t want to deal with apps, cash, or language right after immigration.

You meet your driver in the public arrivals hall of Terminal T2, just past customs, where other taxi touts also stand. With a prebooked transfer you already know the plate number and price, so you can ignore the walk‑up offers. Most services track your flight number, so late arrivals at 01:00–05:00 still get pickup without surge pricing drama or haggling in the hall.

Pricing is usually a flat rate quoted in advance for the whole car, often comparable to two or three GG or Yandex rides, which locals say are very cheap from EVN into central Yerevan for this 20‑minute trip. The value is predictability: fixed price, fixed car size, and space for several checked bags, which matters if you’re a group of 3–4 with large luggage or travelling with elderly relatives.

Expect standard sedans by default, with larger vans available if you specify headcount and baggage numbers when booking; for example, four adults with four 23 kg suitcases usually need an upgrade from the base car. Because the airport is only about 12 km from Republic Square, you won’t save much time versus an app taxi, but you do lock in pickup and capacity in advance.

Regulars on r/armenia keep saying the opposite: they push GG or Yandex for almost every arrival, pointing out that app taxis are cheap, fast, and everywhere for the short airport–city run. That’s the clue: most locals and frequent visitors skip prebooked transfers here and only mention them in edge cases like 04:30 departures or travelling with nervous first‑timers.

Practical tip: if your flight lands between 23:00 and 06:00, or you’re juggling kids plus multiple 20+ kg bags, prebook once, send the flight number and hotel address, and treat this as an insurance policy; for daytime solo arrivals, just install GG or Yandex and grab an app taxi instead.
