Oregon-only snacks and gifts without leaving EUG’s post-security area
Right past Eugene’s single security checkpoint, Made in Oregon stocks all the state-name brands in one small footprint. Shelves lean hard on Tillamook cheese and snacks, locally roasted coffee, Oregon hazelnuts, and Pendleton-branded mugs, blankets, and accessories. It’s the spot to grab an “I actually went to Oregon” present when your Uber dropped you late and you skipped every stop in town.
Prices run higher than downtown Portland shops, but still under typical big-airport gouge: expect around $8–$10 for local chocolate bars or hazelnut packs and $20–$40 for Pendleton souvenirs. Since EUG has limited retail beyond the main holdroom, this ends up being the primary non-chain gift option once you’re through TSA. Figure 5–10 minutes to scan everything; the store isn’t large.
Food-wise, you’ll see Tillamook jerky, cheese, and snack kits, locally made jams, and Oregon wine and beer options that match what you’d find at a small bottle shop on Willamette Street. Nothing here works as a full meal, but it’s solid backup if the single concourse café line stretches past your boarding zone. Just watch your liquids; anything over 100 ml still has to ride in checked luggage.
Quick tip: if your flight boards from one of the gates at the far end of the EUG concourse, stop at Made in Oregon right after security. Stock up on snacks and gifts once, because there’s effectively zero retail once you turn toward the last three gates.
