For pricing, a standard Lyft to downtown El Paso about 7 miles away lands around $12–$18 before tip, while a ride to the East Side near Zaragoza, roughly 16 miles, can hit $25–$35 in peak times. Lyft XL usually adds another $8–$12 to those numbers. Watch for airport surcharges in the fare breakdown; ELP adds a small per-ride fee that’s baked into the quote.
There’s no separate terminal rideshare entrance, so tell your driver “El Paso International main terminal, Arrivals level” and then give a door number from the overhead signs, usually Door 1–4. Coming back to the airport, most Lyft rides from central El Paso to ELP take about 15–20 minutes outside rush hour; add another 10 minutes if you’re crossing from the far West Side near I‑10 and Mesa.
One small quirk: ELP has 2 runways and a compact terminal, so early-morning banks around 05:30–07:30 can clog the curb.
