Rideshare

Pickup hits 5–10 minutes after landing at ELP

Andale Ride works like a standard rideshare at El Paso International (ELP), with app-based requests and curbside pickup. The airport uses terminal codes A and B, but the passenger terminal is in one building, so you just follow signs to the shared-ride pickup area outside baggage claim. Most pick-ups clock in around 5–10 minutes once your driver accepts.

Arrivals at ELP sit at street level, and Andale Ride drivers meet you at the designated rideshare zone near the main baggage claim doors. It’s a 2–3 minute walk from carousels serving gates A and B, so you don’t need a shuttle. Open app, confirm “El Paso International Airport” as pickup, then match the license plate and car description curbside.

Pricing runs like other rideshares: short hops under 5 miles to hotels near Airway Blvd often sit in the $10–$18 range off-peak, and trips downtown (about 7 miles) sit closer to $18–$28 before tips at normal demand. Late-night runs after 10:00 p.m. and game-day surges can push that higher, so check the fare estimate before you tap confirm.

Hours are effectively 24/7, but driver coverage thins from roughly 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. If your flight lands in that window, expect wait times over 10 minutes and possibly 15–20 minutes, especially on weekdays. For arrivals in the 7:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. band, coverage around ELP is usually dense enough for quick matching.

Rides from ELP into Fort Bliss (about 3–6 miles depending on gate) are common, and Andale Ride drivers know the visitor control centers on Chaffee Rd and Buffalo Soldier Rd by name. Have your exact gate or building address ready in the app so the driver can follow base entry rules without extra loops.

On returns to ELP, drop-off for Andale Ride is on the upper-level departures curb, the same road used for airline check-in at A and B. Tell the driver your airline (for example, American at A or Southwest often at B) and they’ll pull to the closest door, cutting your terminal walk to under 2 minutes.

Practical tip: If you checked bags, only request your Andale Ride once you’re actually at the carousel; bags at ELP can take 10–15 minutes, and drivers aren’t paid to wait that long.
