Drive-up parking 1 minute from T1 doors
P1 sits directly in front of Eindhoven Airport T1, about a 1‑minute walk from the check‑in area, and runs as a short‑stay multi‑storey garage. Daily pricing is premium compared to P3, P4 and P5, but in exchange you skip shuttles, long walks and guesswork about where you left the car.
This is the only official Eindhoven Airport car park where you can still drive in unbooked, take a ticket and pay at a machine or at the exit. P3, P4 and P5 have shifted to reservation‑only, which means last‑minute drivers often land in P1 by default and pay the higher day‑of rate. If you’re pulling in without a booking for a 2‑ or 3‑day trip, assume you’re paying for that convenience.
Prebooked P1 stays go through the airport’s parking webshop, and regulars lock in lower advance prices this way when P1 shows as bookable. The booking flow lets you enter your license plate so the system reads it at the barrier and opens automatically, skipping tickets, QR codes and the need to keep track of a paper stub in your carry‑on.
Payment at the exit gate allows contactless card tapping, but only for totals up to €50 per stay. If your bill runs past €50, you have to stop at a regular payment terminal in the stairwell or lobby first, which catches out people expecting to just tap at the barrier. Garage layout is straightforward, with signage to the terminal doors and elevators from each parking level.
One tip: for weekend or 3‑ to 4‑day trips, check P1 prices online a week or two ahead; if the prebook rate looks high, compare it with P3 or P4 and only stick with P1 when that 1‑minute walk really matters to your schedule.
