Economy Parking

Long-stay

Daily rates stay low in DWC’s Economy Parking long-stay lot

Economy Parking at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) is the long-stay option for trips running several days or more, with pricing set below the on-airport short-stay areas. The car park sits on airport grounds, so you’re a short shuttle ride from the terminal instead of dealing with off-airport transfers that can add 20–30 minutes.

This is a surface lot, not a multilevel structure, so pick a spot near the main pedestrian exits to cut down your walk to the shuttle stops by a few minutes. Because it’s long-stay, spaces generally turn over in blocks of days, and you’re less likely to see the constant in-and-out traffic that you get in short-term areas closer to the terminal doors.

Economy Parking works best if you know your return time and can pre-calc cost against taxis; once you’re leaving your car for more than 3–4 days, the daily rate usually undercuts multiple airport runs from central Dubai. If you’re sharing the car between two or three travelers, it often beats separate rides to DWC by a solid margin.

Payment is at machines near the pedestrian exits and at the car park entry/exit, and you pay in local currency with standard card support, so you don’t have to stop at the terminal to sort your ticket. Keep the paper ticket dry and out of direct sun on the dashboard; replacement fees can kill the savings from a couple of days of discounted parking.

Tip: Snap a photo of your row and the nearest shuttle pole number as you leave; DWC’s flat long-stay layout makes cars blend together fast after a red-eye return.
