Shower access in the Domestic terminal is the real hook here.

This is the Saphire Blue Sky Lounge (often signed as Blue Sky Premier Lounge) near gate 6 in the Domestic terminal at DPS, airside after security. Hours run 05:30–21:30 daily, and you’ll need a domestic boarding pass plus lounge program access or a paid entry. Day passes run about $30 for a nominal three-hour stay, sold directly at the desk.

After security in Domestic, turn right and walk a good 5–10 minutes toward gate 6, then head upstairs by elevator or stairs to reach the lounge entrance. It’s a contract lounge that takes Priority Pass and similar programs, and regulars use it as their default domestic option at Bali. Staff usually scan you in for a three-hour window, but some travelers report simply checking in again if a delay drags on.

Food is stronger than you’d expect for a domestic Indonesian lounge: a hot buffet with rotating local dishes, plus a chocolate fondue fountain and an ice‑cream bar that reviewers call out as the surprise highlight. Coffee is another strong point here, with decent espresso-based drinks available all day rather than only at peak times. Alcohol selection is basic, so don’t plan on anything beyond standard beer and simple spirits.

The lounge has one shower suite, and that’s the scarce resource: you book it at reception, and smart flyers lock in a time slot the moment they enter. There’s also a dedicated prayer room and a smoking room tucked away from the main seating area; both are easy to miss unless you ask. A couple of small “VIP” conference rooms can be reserved through the front desk if you need a door to shut for a call.

Complaints mostly center on the sales pitch at the entrance, where staff push the roughly $30 day pass for a three-hour visit even when you’re presenting Priority Pass. Seating is generally ample, but power outlets near some chairs don’t always work, so check before you settle in with a laptop. Noise levels spike around mid-morning and early evening banked departures on major domestic carriers.

Practical tip: on arrival, go straight to reception to put your name down for the single shower and, if you think you’ll run long, quietly confirm how they handle stays beyond the stated three-hour limit.
