Frequent DOH flyers say it feels a bit dated next to Al Mourjan or the Gold Lounge, but also mention that seats are easier to find in the peak midnight bank. The lounge is airside in the Main terminal, so you clear security first and then follow signs for Oryx Lounge off the central concourse. Reports put it roughly on par with a solid 3-star hotel lobby: functional seating, some views into the terminal, power outlets at many chairs, and Wi‑Fi fast enough for streaming. Expect self-serve soft drinks, coffee machines, and basic spirits and beer included in the entry fee rather than QR’s more premium bar line-up.
