Footlongs and salads in DMK Terminal 2

On the Terminal 2 side of Don Mueang (DMK), Subway is the predictable option when you want something lighter than fried chicken and cheaper than a sit-down meal. You pick bread, meat, and salad bar toppings at the counter, just like in the city branches. Prices run roughly 120–220 THB for a 6-inch or footlong, which comes in lower than most made-to-order hot meals in T2.

This Subway sits airside in Terminal 2, so you clear security first and then walk toward the domestic gates. It usually opens early morning and trades through the late evening flight banks, matching T2’s heavy Thai AirAsia and Nok Air schedules. That timing helps if you land from Chiang Mai on a 07:00 arrival and still need something before a 09:30 connection.

Standard subs like the Italian B.M.T., tuna, and veggie delight are on the board, plus fountain drinks and bottled water in the 25–40 THB range. Expect the usual upcharge for extra cheese and double meat, noted on the menu in baht. The counter crew builds everything in front of you, so you can dial back mayonnaise or chili if you’re just trying to keep things plane-friendly before a two-hour hop.

Seating tends to be shared with nearby Terminal 2 food outlets rather than a full private dining room. That means you might end up at a common table 20–30 meters from the counter, still in view of the domestic gates. Service moves quicker than some of the hot food spots, and you’re usually walking away with your sandwich in under 10 minutes, even at peak departures.

Tip: order a 6-inch to go, skip the heavy sauces, and it will hold up fine if you don’t unwrap it until you board a Thai AirAsia or Nok Air flight an hour later from Terminal 2.
