Airport Arrival Food Court, Pillar No 17, Terminal 3, New Delhi - 110037, Delhi, IN

15-hour flight ahead? This KFC in T3 does the pre-boarding chicken bucket.

KFC sits airside in Terminal T3, on the international side, and pulls a steady crowd of people tanking up before long-haul departures. It’s one of the few non-veg fast food counters in this terminal, so you’ll see folks carrying Zinger boxes to gates bound for 10–15 hour flights. Price tier is firmly $ for the airport: still higher than city outlets, but usually cheaper than the full-service restaurants dotted along T3.

Menu hits the usual notes: Zinger burgers, chicken buckets, and combo meals. Reviews say the seasoning and crunch are close to what you’d get at a city KFC, which is the main draw for people who just want something familiar before a 7,000+ mile haul. Combos cost noticeably more than in central Delhi, but less than a sit-down thali or burger meal elsewhere in T3 by a couple hundred rupees.

Service speed is the weak point. Multiple reviews talk about 10–20 minute waits during rush hours, with one calling it “fast food only in name.” When the kitchen gets backed up, staff sometimes cut the menu down, so certain bucket sizes or sides go “not available” for stretches. Food temperature also drops during those periods, with several people getting their chicken lukewarm instead of hot.

Regulars keep it simple. They order 1–2 Zinger burgers or a small box of strips because those move fastest and are more likely to come out hot. Bigger family buckets and custom combos seem to slow things down and are the first to run into stock issues. People who know the terminal also try to avoid the late-night crunch between roughly 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m., when multiple wide-bodies leave close together.

Tip: If your T3 international flight boards at, say, Gate 12 at 01:00, hit KFC by 23:45, order a Zinger or two, and plan to eat at the gate rather than hovering at the counter.
