Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 1, Delhi, IN

200 meters from T1 departures, someone else handles the parking.

Valet Parking T1 sits directly outside the Terminal 1 departure forecourt at Indira Gandhi International Airport, so you hand over the keys within a 1–2 minute walk of the check-in counters. It’s a true hand-off service: staff take your car, park it in a designated area within the terminal’s parking zone, and bring it back to the same spot when you return.

This is an official airport-operated valet service for T1, not a third-party lot several kilometers away. You pull up to the marked valet bay in front of the terminal, show your ticket and ID, and the car is logged into the system with your registration number and time of drop-off. Keep the printed slip; you’ll need it when you collect the car.

Pricing follows the T1 airport parking structure, with a premium over regular surface parking to cover the valet staff and handling. You pay at an official parking payment counter or machine tied to the airport’s system, not in cash directly to the attendant at the curb. Ask for the current hourly and daily rates at the T1 information desk or the valet desk before leaving the car if you plan to stay more than 24 hours.

Service hours generally track Terminal 1 flight operations, which run from early morning to late night, so you can usually find staff on duty from before 04:00 until after 23:00. If you have a red-eye departure or a very late arrival into T1, confirm operating hours by phone or on the Delhi Airport website on the day of travel, especially if you expect to collect the car after midnight.

Practical tip: snap a photo of your parking ticket and your car’s number plate at drop-off; it speeds up pickup at T1 if the paper slip goes missing in your carry-on during the flight.
