Car Park T1C sits directly in front of Terminal T1, so you’re usually at the doors in about 3–5 minutes on foot. It’s set up as a short-stay option, so think airport drop-offs, quick pickups, or meeting someone off an early IndiGo or SpiceJet flight rather than leaving your car all day.

Pricing at Car Park T1C runs on an hourly model, with the first few hours typically cheaper than committing to a full day in a long-term lot elsewhere at DEL. This makes sense if you’re staying under about 4–5 hours; beyond that, costs stack up and a longer-stay car park starts to win. Check the current posted rates at the entry gate before pulling a ticket, as tariffs at Delhi airport do change.

The lot is post-entry but pre-terminal in practical terms: you pass the airport perimeter and security check for vehicles, then park, then walk to Terminal T1 doors and go through passenger security inside. That means you should still budget at least 30–40 minutes from hitting the airport compound to reaching your gate for domestic departures from T1.

Being tied to T1, Car Park T1C is not a good match if you’re flying out of T2 or T3. There’s no simple shuttle between terminals from this lot, and a taxi hop to another terminal will wipe out any small savings on parking. If your flight leaves from T1, it’s a straightforward walk; different terminal, pick a different car park.

The practical play: for pickups at T1 where you expect the passenger out within about 1–2 hours, use Car Park T1C and wait here instead of looping the terminal access road and burning fuel in traffic.
