$30 per day gets you next-to-terminal valet at DAR

Right beside the passenger terminals at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Valet Parking lets you hand over the keys and walk straight toward check-in in a couple of minutes. It’s true valet service, so staff park and retrieve your car for you instead of you hunting for a space in the sun.

Pricing is simple: $30.00 per day or $200.00 per week, which starts to make sense if you’re away for four nights or more. The rate is flat, so there’s no separate ticket for Terminal 1, 2, or 3 – you just tell the valet which terminal you’re flying from and they’ll direct you to the right drop-off point.

Drop-off happens right next to the terminal entrance, which cuts your landside time a lot compared with remote lots or hotel parking. On return, you meet the valet again at the same terminal area and they bring the car to you, avoiding any shuttle wait or long walk with bags in the Dar es Salaam heat.

There’s no posted hourly option here, so think of Valet Parking as a 24-hour product. For very short trips under a day, you may be overpaying compared with regular terminal parking, but for multi-day business trips or week-long holidays, the $200 weekly cap keeps the number predictable.

Tip: Build a 10–15 minute buffer at pickup on your return and call the valet as soon as you clear immigration and collect bags so the car is already on the way to your terminal curb when you step outside.
