Burger King

T1

Burgers and fries in T1 when you’re short on time

This Burger King sits airside in Terminal T1 at Da Nang International Airport, so it works for most domestic departures once you clear security. It’s one of the few international chains in the terminal, which makes it a default stop for people who don’t want to guess at a menu before a VietJet or Vietnam Airlines flight.

Food is exactly what you expect from Burger King: Whopper-style burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, nuggets, and soft drinks, with combo meals typically running in the 120,000–180,000 VND range. Portions track with other Vietnamese outlets rather than US sizes, so a large set here feels more like a medium in the States.

Service speed is decent by local standards; at off-peak times you’re usually in and out in under 10 minutes, but during evening banks of flights from T1 you can see wait times stretch to 15–20 minutes. If your boarding pass shows a bus gate at the far end of T1, add a few extra minutes to walk back to the gate after you pick up your tray.

Seating is shared with the surrounding food-court style area in T1, with a mix of fixed tables and a few high stools along the rail facing the concourse. Outlets are scarce around this cluster, so don’t count on charging your phone while you eat; you’ll usually have better luck closer to the main waiting areas by gates 4–8.

If you’re sensitive to pricing, note that drinks and add-ons like onion rings run noticeably higher than downtown Da Nang, again hovering around 40,000–60,000 VND each. To keep it simple, stick with a standard burger or chicken set meal rather than piecing together sides.

Tip: Order at the counter, grab your receipt number, and use the wait to top up water or visit the nearby restroom, then swing back to collect your tray so you’re not just standing in the small pickup area.
