Auntie Anne's

T1

Gate-side pretzels in T1 when you’re tired of rice

This Auntie Anne’s sits airside in T1’s domestic area, a few minutes’ walk from most Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet gates. It’s one of the very few Western chains in Da Nang’s domestic terminal, so you’ll see the familiar blue sign even on short 30–40 minute turnarounds. Expect a basic counter setup with no real seating, built for grab-and-go before boarding.

Pretzels and pretzel bites run in the 35,000–60,000 VND range, with combo deals pushing closer to 80,000–90,000 VND once you add a drink. Compared with street food in town that’s expensive, but inside T1 it lands in the middle of airport pricing. Card payment usually works, but keep a 100,000 VND note handy in case the POS terminal is offline.

You’ll get the standard international menu: original salted pretzels, cinnamon sugar, cheese-covered versions, and small hot dogs wrapped in pretzel dough. If you want something filling before a 1–2 hour domestic hop, the pretzel dogs and cheese pretzels carry more weight than the sweet options. Skip loading up on drinks here if you’re price-sensitive; water and soda at nearby newsstands in T1 are often a few thousand dong cheaper.

Service is counter-only and fairly quick; when a flight to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City is boarding from adjacent gates, queues of 8–10 people can form but still move in under 10 minutes. Freshness depends on timing: pretzels are best right after a batch comes out, which tends to be in the 30 minutes before big departures on Vietnam Airlines or Vietjet.

Tip: if your gate is in the high teens or 20s in T1, stop here first before walking down the pier; backtracking can add 5–10 minutes to your boarding dash.
