Starbucks

T3

Post-security caffeine in T3 is basically this Starbucks

In Cancún International’s Terminal 3 departures, Starbucks sits airside after security, one of the only confirmed coffee stops once you’re past passport control. If you’re on a US carrier out of T3 and want something more predictable than vending machine espresso, this is the safe bet before you reach gates.

This Starbucks is in the T3 departures concourse, so you have to clear security first; there’s no landside branch listed in the terminal’s directory. The airport’s own dining map flags it among a short list of T3 food options, which means lines can spike when several departures bank within the same 60–90 minute window.

Menu follows the standard Starbucks pattern: espresso drinks, brewed coffee, Frappuccinos, teas, plus pastries and breakfast items. Expect airport pricing, usually a bit higher than a downtown Cancún store, and factor in a few extra minutes if you’re ordering anything blended or with custom milk options. If you just want a drip coffee or Americano, those usually move faster than the Frappuccino queue.

Hours aren’t clearly published, but T3 handles morning and midday departures, so assume early opening for the first wave and closing after the last evening flights. If you land on a late-night arrival into T3, don’t count on it being open. Use it as your last coffee stop before boarding a 3–5 hour flight back to the US, especially if your airline doesn’t comp espresso drinks in economy.

Tip: Hit Starbucks immediately after security in T3, before you get distracted by duty free; lines tend to be shortest in the first 15–20 minutes after you clear the checkpoint.
