T4’s Jose Cuervo Tequileria sits airside near the gates
This branch of Jose Cuervo Tequileria is inside Cancún International Airport’s Terminal 4, past security and within a short walk of the main international gates. It runs on the usual airport schedule, generally opening early for morning departures and staying open into the late evening bank of flights. Signage in T4 is clear, so you’ll spot the yellow-and-black Cuervo branding as you move toward your gate.
The focus is exactly what the name says: tequila. Expect a full bar with multiple Jose Cuervo labels poured in standard 1–2 oz shots, plus basic cocktails and margaritas priced at typical resort-airport levels. Food skews to quick bar fare and simple Mexican plates, usually in the mid-range for T4: think around what you’d pay in the hotel zone, not downtown Cancún. It’s a sit-down setup, so build at least 45–60 minutes into your pre-boarding window if you want a relaxed drink and a hot plate.
Seating faces the concourse and boarding areas in T4, so you can watch your gate’s status boards without leaving your table. Service pace matches other bars in the terminal: fine if you’ve got an hour, stressful if boarding starts in 20 minutes. Like most liquor-focused spots at CUN, staff push premium tequila flights and souvenir-style drinks, which adds up quickly on a two-round stop.
Tip: if your main goal is a margarita before a long-haul out of T4, order a straightforward classic on the rocks, pay the tab right away, and keep an eye on time yourself rather than waiting for the final check when your flight is already boarding.
