VIP Parking

premium

Daily rates at VIP Parking run higher than standard CUN lots.

VIP Parking is the premium option at Cancún International Airport for drivers who want a shorter walk and quicker exit. It sits within the airport road system that feeds T2, T3, and T4, so you’re always a short shuttle or quick walk from the terminals compared with off-airport operators along the highway. Pricing is above the regular airport parking, but you trade that for a more controlled access area and easier wayfinding when you land back at CUN.

This facility functions as a gated premium lot, not a massive long-term field. Spaces are limited compared with the regular airport parking areas, which helps keep turnover higher for short and medium stays of 1–5 days. You pull a ticket at entry, park yourself, and pay at the automated machines or cashier on exit, following the same ticket-based system used across Cancún airport parking.

VIP Parking mainly suits departures from T2, T3, and T4, which together handle the bulk of international and domestic traffic at CUN. If you’re flying on US and Canadian carriers, there’s a good chance you’ll use T3 or T4, so staying on-airport cuts out the extra 15–25 minutes that off-airport shuttles often burn in traffic. For early-morning departures before 08:00, that time buffer matters.

Security patrols and controlled entry and exit make this lot feel more monitored than small private yards on the access road outside the airport. Lighting runs across the lanes at night, and cameras cover the main gates, giving a more formal setup than improvised parking on nearby side streets. Still, treat it like any other airport lot and avoid leaving valuables visible in the car.

One tip: arrive 30–40 minutes earlier than you usually would for parking at CUN during holiday peaks, as VIP Parking can fill faster than the standard long-term lots and may require a short wait or a backup plan at the regular airport parking areas.
