Priority Pass holders in CUN T2 mostly miss this lounge
The Lounge by Global Lounge Network in Terminal 2 runs as a low-profile contract space that rarely shows up in trip reports, but it does accept Priority Pass and walk-in payment. If you’re in T2 on an airline that doesn’t run its own club, this is one of the only places to sit down away from the main seating near the T2 check-in and gate areas.
This lounge sits airside in Terminal 2, so you need a same-day boarding pass for T2 flights before you can get in with Priority Pass or as a pay-in guest. Staff scan your Priority Pass card or app, or charge a day rate at the desk; expect pricing in the typical $30–$45 USD band that Global Lounge Network uses at other airports. Because it’s in T2 only, this space makes sense if your flight leaves from T2, not from T3 or T4.
Hours generally track daytime departures in Terminal 2, often opening several hours before the first wave of flights and staying open into the late afternoon or evening when the last T2 departures clear. That timing works best for mid-morning to mid-afternoon flights, especially the common bank between about 10:00 and 15:00 out of CUN T2. If you land late at night, don’t count on it being open; check same-day hours in your app before walking over from your gate.
Food and drink follow the standard contract-lounge template, closer to “better than the public concourse” than a big airline flagship; think simple hot trays and snacks rather than a full restaurant with made-to-order dishes. Compared with grabbing something from a T2 fast-food stand and eating at the gate, you at least get a table, power outlets, and basic drinks included in your entry. If you’re paying cash, do the math against a sit-down meal in the terminal at roughly $20–$30 USD per person.
Because almost no regulars talk about this space online, expect generic Global Lounge Network styling rather than anything unique to Cancún. The payoff is mainly a quieter seat, Wi‑Fi, and a place to charge your phone near your T2 gate. One practical tip: if you hold Priority Pass and your layover in Terminal 2 runs longer than 90 minutes, head here early; if it’s under 45 minutes, you’re usually better off going straight to your gate in T2 instead of backtracking from the lounge when boarding starts.
