P2 Parking Lot

Long-stay

P2 sits across from Chengdu T2, about a 7‑minute walk

P2 Parking Lot is the long-stay option on the T2 side of Chengdu Shuangliu, set up for trips that run several days to a couple of weeks. It’s signed as “P2” on the airport ring road, and you enter from the T2 access road rather than the T1 side. The walk to the main T2 departures doors runs about 7 minutes at a normal pace with one suitcase.

Daily pricing sits around CNY 18 per day, which undercuts many on-airport long-stay setups at other Chinese hubs. That daily rate usually becomes better value than short-stay areas once you pass the 24‑hour mark. Budget about CNY 126 for a week or roughly CNY 252 for two weeks if you leave the car parked the whole time.

A shuttle link runs between P2 and the terminal curb every 12 minutes in typical daytime schedules, so you can skip the 7‑minute walk if you have heavy bags or kids. Buses usually stop at the T2 departures level first and then loop toward T1, so factor that into your timing if you’re actually flying from T1. With a 12‑minute shuttle interval, add at least 20–25 minutes from locking your car to reaching check‑in.

P2 is classed as long-stay, so spaces tend to handle multi-day parking better than the closer T1/T2 short-term lots. Lanes are marked, but this is still a big open lot, so snap a quick photo of your row number on your phone. If you’re parking in peak holiday periods in Sichuan, arrive at least 30–40 minutes earlier than usual to hunt for a space and wait out a full shuttle cycle.

Practical tip: flying from T1 but parking in P2 by T2, plan on the 7‑minute walk plus one 12‑minute shuttle interval and treat that 20+ minutes as extra buffer on top of your normal airport arrival time.
