14 per day gets you a basic spot at Off-site Airport Parking Area B.
This is an economy lot sitting off the main Chengdu Shuangliu airport grounds, set up for longer trips from T1 or T2. Daily rates run at 14, so it usually undercuts on-airport parking by a decent margin if you’re gone more than two or three days. It’s a bare-bones setup: expect open-air parking, pay for the rate, and you’re mostly here to save cash, not time.
The shuttle run to the terminals takes about 25 minutes, and that’s the critical number to plan around. Add that to your airline’s check-in cutoff and security time at T1 or T2, and you’ll want to arrive at the lot at least 60–75 minutes before you’d normally be at the check-in desk. Shuttles typically load from a central point in Area B, so factor in a few extra minutes to walk from your row to the pickup spot.
This lot is outside the secured area for both T1 and T2, so you still have full check-in, bag drop, and security to clear once the shuttle drops you off. With a 25-minute shuttle each way, retrieving your car after landing can easily add 40–50 minutes to your arrival, especially if you land late and just missed a bus. If your return into Chengdu is close to midnight, double-check the shuttle operating times before you book.
Watch out for the clock on departure day: that 25-minute shuttle can be longer in peak Chengdu traffic. Build yourself a buffer and treat this like parking in town, not at-terminal. Tip: snap a photo of your row and a nearby sign in Area B before you board the shuttle; it saves a lot of wandering when you roll back in after a long flight.
