P1 runs at about ¥15 per day, close to both terminals
P1 Parking Lot sits on the terminal side of Chengdu Shuangliu, with a walking time of about 5 minutes to T1 and T2 if you’re moving at normal pace and not hauling oversized bags. It’s classed as short-stay, so think in terms of hours to a couple of days, not a week-long trip. If you want to control your timing and skip waiting for a ride, this is the closest “park and walk” option.
The posted rate comes out to roughly ¥15 per day, which is low for an on-airport lot that close to the check-in halls. You’ll usually pay more for anything that lets you walk to T1 or T2 in under 10 minutes. If you’re dropping a car for a 24–48 hour work trip, that pricing often beats taking a taxi both ways, especially from nearby districts.
There is a shuttle option from P1, running around every 10 minutes, but that only really helps if you’re traveling with kids, oversized luggage, or have mobility issues. Walking still clocks in at about 5 minutes to both terminals, so most drivers skip the shuttle and head straight to departures on foot. Just follow the signs pointing T1/T2; they’re marked in English and Chinese.
Because P1 is short-stay, long trips of 4–5 days or more start to add up. At about ¥15 per day, a week of parking approaches the cost of several Didi trips from central Chengdu. For longer journeys, look at the more remote lots or off-airport parking companies that run dedicated shuttles into T1 and T2 every 15–20 minutes.
Practical tip: add 10 extra minutes at peak times to walk from P1 to your check-in island in T1 or T2, since the curbside and entrances can back up even when the lot itself is easy to get in and out of.
