Gate-side in T1, this Subway runs 7:00 to 21:00
Inside Terminal T1 after security, Subway is the low-effort, low-cost option when you just want something predictable before a LATAM or Avianca hop. It’s fully post-security, so you can grab a sandwich and walk to your gate without dealing with landside crowds again.
Prices sit at the “$” tier for the airport: think basic subs and combos that won’t wreck a budget compared with other CTG concessions. If you’re watching pesos, skip extras like cookies and drinks and just take a 15 cm sub with tap water from the fountains in T1.
Standard Subway format: counter service, bread choice, then fillings. Expect turkey, ham, meatball, veggie, and a couple of chicken options, similar to any Colombian city location. If you care about speed, pick a cold sandwich and pass on toasting, since the oven step adds a few minutes when there’s a small line.
The shop’s 7:00–21:00 schedule covers most domestic and regional departures from CTG but not the very first or last bank of flights. If you land from an early morning Avianca run that hits before 7:00, plan on grabbing food in town instead. Evening flights that leave after 21:00 mean you’ll need backup snacks from a kiosk.
Seating right at the unit is limited, and tables in the nearby T1 concourse fill fast during midday peaks. Many people just carry their subs to the gate area seating clusters near specific doors and eat there while boarding starts.
Tip: if your boarding pass shows a tight 45-minute connection in T1, order a simple 15 cm cold sub, pay by card, and skip custom extras so you’re in and out in under 10 minutes.
