Beer

T1 post-security bar Beer sits right on the main concourse

Right after security in Terminal T1, Beer is the obvious spot if you want a cold drink without roaming the whole Rafael Núñez International Airport. It’s a simple bar setup with high stools and a few small tables, so think quick stops more than long meals. You’re looking at standard airport pricing in Colombian pesos, a bit higher than Old Town Cartagena, but normal for CTG.

Beer leans on exactly what the name says: bottled lagers, a few local Colombian labels, and basic mixed drinks. Draft options are limited, so if you care about brands, ask before you sit; choices change as stock rotates. Food is secondary here and usually runs to bar snacks and light bites, not full plates. If you’re hungry enough for a real meal, plan to eat elsewhere in T1 and treat this more as a pre-flight drink stop.

Service pace matches typical T1 traffic: when a couple of international departures bank around the same time, it slows. Build in at least 20 minutes if you want two drinks and the check without stress. The staff generally handles both sit-down orders and quick stand-at-the-bar customers, so flag your server early if you’re watching a boarding time. Cards are accepted, and prices usually include tax; tip in pesos if you liked the service.

Seats here fill up fast before evening flights to Bogotá and Panama City, and power outlets are scarce around the bar area. Don’t plan on getting work done; this is more of a quick refresh before heading to your gate. One practical tip: check your gate number on the screens next to the bar, then sit facing the concourse so you can watch boarding lines form 30–40 minutes before departure.
