Gate-side hot dogs in T1 without wrecking your budget

Dog sits airside in Terminal T1, after security, and runs daily from 06:00 to 22:30. It’s basic fast food: hot dogs, fries, maybe a burger or two, and soft drinks. Think quick grab-and-go before a domestic hop or a short international leg, not a long sit-down meal.

Price tier is clearly $, which is rare in this airport where coffee alone can creep toward 15,000–18,000 COP. Expect a hot dog plus a drink to land well under what you’d pay at the full-service spots in T1. Card payments are standard, but it’s useful to have a small bill in pesos in case their terminal glitches.

Location is inside security in T1, so you’re already past passport control and scanners when you eat here. That makes Dog workable even on a tight 40–50 minute connection inside T1, as long as your gate isn’t at the far end. Lines tend to form in short bursts when multiple domestic departures board at once, but turnover stays quick.

Food is pure fast-food comfort: hot dogs with classic toppings, fries, maybe a combo with soda. Expect paper trays, plastic cups, and minimal seating nearby that you’ll probably share with passengers from two or three gates. Quality tracks with other Colombian mall-style dog stands; good enough if you’re hungry, forgettable if you’re not.

Tip: if your flight boards from a bus gate on the T1 side, grab food at Dog and carry it to the holding area; service here is faster than gambling on a snack cart showing up before boarding.
