Cupertino Bar

Tapas and drinks

T1 Open · 10:00 - 20:00 $$$$ Post-security

Gate-side tapas in T1 at Rafael Nuñez, 10:00–20:00

Cupertino Bar sits airside in Terminal T1, past security, and runs from 10:00 to 20:00, so it works for most midday Avianca and LATAM banks. It’s a small bar first and food second: counter seats and a few two-tops, all within sight of nearby gates. You’re paying mid-range airport prices here (call it $$), not a budget stop but not champagne-bar levels either.

The menu leans tapas and bar snacks: think sharing plates that land quicker than a full menu restaurant. You’ll see standards like patatas-style potatoes, basic cured meats, and fried bites sized to pair with a drink. Portions are on the modest side for the price tier, so treat it as a pre-flight nibble rather than a full dinner. Figure on one or two tapas per person to avoid leaving hungry.

Drinks are the main event. Expect Colombian beers, basic wines by the glass, and the usual short list of cocktails, with rum and aguardiente getting prominent shelf space. A mixed drink typically runs in the mid-$$ range, with beer a bit cheaper. If you just need a quick beer before a 90-minute hop to Bogotá or Panama City, this is one of the easier sit-down options in T1 without roaming the whole concourse.

Service pace tracks airport traffic: fine during the early afternoon lull, slower when multiple departures crowd the nearby gates. With operating hours capped at 20:00, it’s not an option for late-night departures after the last international wave. No standout dish or drink emerges from reports, so treat the menu as generic tapas-and-drinks and order to your own taste rather than chasing a signature item.

Tip: grab a printed check and pay as soon as your last drink lands; during the 18:00–20:00 push, card processing can easily eat 10–15 minutes.
