Crepes & Waffles

At T1 in CTG, Crepes & Waffles is the safest bet

Past security in Terminal T1 at Rafael Nuñez (CTG), Crepes & Waffles sits in the main departures area, so you can keep an eye on boarding times without wandering far from the gates. It’s a familiar Colombian chain, so you more or less know what you’re getting compared with the smaller local kiosks scattered around T1.

Menu prices run in the mid-range for CTG: expect around 25,000–40,000 COP for savory crepes, slightly less for soups and salads, and 15,000–25,000 COP for desserts and ice cream. That’s noticeably cheaper than many full-service spots in larger hubs, but higher than the empanada and snack stands near the outer gates in T1.

Food focus is what you’d expect from the brand name: crepes (both sweet and savory), waffles, salads, and ice creams. A safe play is one savory crepe plus a single scoop of ice cream, which lands you near 35,000–45,000 COP total. Portions tend to be moderate, which works on a hot Cartagena day or before a 3–4 hour flight.

Service is sit-down with table staff, so budget at least 30–40 minutes if you’re ordering a hot dish; it’s not as quick as grabbing a pre-made sandwich from the smaller cafés near security in T1. Coffee and juices usually come out first, so if you’re tight on time, stick to drinks and a dessert crepe or waffle.

Ice cream flavors change but you’ll usually see Colombian staples like arequipe and maracuyá. One waffle with two scoops is enough to share if you just want something sweet before a late afternoon departure bank of flights between 15:00 and 18:00.

Tip: If your flight is boarding from a remote gate at the far end of T1, order the bill as soon as the main plates hit the table so you’re not stuck waiting for checkout when your group is called.
