This McDonald’s is in Terminal A at Catania-Fontanarossa, on the public side before security, so you can eat here even if you’re just dropping someone off. It runs on standard McDonald’s pricing for Italy, with combo meals usually in the €8–€12 range depending on size and extras.
You’ll find the usual global staples like a Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets, and fries, plus rotating Italy-only specials that change every few months. Coffee is via the McCafé setup, so a basic espresso or cappuccino costs around €1–€2, cheaper than most airside cafés in Terminal A or C.
Lines tend to form at typical meal times, especially around the morning departure bank between about 06:30–09:00 and again around 12:00–14:00. Service moves quickly, but with only one security checkpoint for Terminal A, give yourself at least 25–30 minutes from finishing your food to scheduled boarding.
There’s plenty of seating for an airport fast-food spot, with rows of tables facing the Terminal A check-in area. If you’re flying from Terminal C, it’s still walkable in about 5–7 minutes, but you’ll then have to clear security again near the C gates.
