Gate-side cannoli in Terminal A

Right in Terminal A after security, I dolci di Agata focuses on Sicilian sweets you can grab fast before boarding. You’ll see the counter on the main departures level, a short walk from the A gates, with pastries stacked behind glass instead of full meals.

Most items sit in the €2–€5 range, so it’s an easy add-on to a quick espresso. Expect cannoli, small cakes, and cookies rather than sandwiches. Coffee is standard Italian bar style: shots pulled quickly, drink it at the counter and go. Figure 5–10 minutes total even when a short queue forms before morning departures.

This is 100% post-security in Terminal A, so you can’t access it from arrivals or Terminal C without a boarding pass for A. The setup is grab-and-go; there’s little or no seating, and staff keep things moving for Schengen flights with tight boarding times. It’s better for a pastry and drink than for anything resembling lunch or dinner.

Best move: pick up a boxed selection of sweets for around the cost of a single airport cocktail elsewhere, then carry it onto your flight from Gate A. If your gate is called early, order at the bar, pay cash or card, and be out again in under 5 minutes.
