Quick

T1

Near T1 security, Quick is the safest fast bet

Right after security in Terminal T1 at Charleroi, Quick sits in the main departures hall and runs mostly all day in line with flight banks. It’s the standard Belgian fast-food chain you see in town, so you already know the drill: burgers, fries, and milkshakes, fast and predictable before an early Ryanair or Wizz Air run.

Menu boards show classic burgers, “Giant” or “Long” sandwiches, kids’ menus, and combo meals that usually hit around €9–€13 including fries and a drink. Fries come hot and salty, and you can add mayo or sauce packets at the counter. If you want something small, single burgers or sides land closer to the €4–€6 mark, which helps if you just need a snack before a 90‑minute hop.

Quick in T1 works like any mall outlet: order at the counter, grab a tray, and find a seat in the shared food court area overlooking the gate area. It’s all self-service, with paper wrappers and disposable cups, so you can be in and out in 15–20 minutes if the queue is short. Figure closer to 30 minutes in peak morning waves before 09:00 or in the evening bank around 18:00–20:00.

If you care about speed, stick to a basic burger menu or the Giant menu; anything marked limited-edition or with extras tends to slow down your order. Soft drinks come in standard fountain sizes, and staff usually let you add ice yourself at the side station. Coffee is drinkable but very chain-standard, so grab it here only if you’ve skipped the smaller cafés near the T1 gates.

Practical tip: lines spike just after big bus arrivals to T1, so if you see a queue forming, order to go and eat at your gate; it’s less than a 5‑minute walk from Quick to most Schengen boarding areas.
