Coffee Corner

T2

Gate-side caffeine fix in T2 before low-cost flights

Coffee Corner sits in Terminal T2 at Brussels South Charleroi Airport, right in the small departures area used mainly by low-cost carriers. It’s post-security, so you can grab something after clearing the single T2 checkpoint and still stay close to your gate. Space in T2 is tight, and Coffee Corner is one of only a handful of food options, so expect it to be busy around early morning departures before 09:00.

Drinks center on espresso-based coffee, soft drinks, and bottled water, with prices in the usual airport range of about €3–€5 for coffee and €3+ for cold drinks. You’ll also find simple pastries and packaged snacks, enough for a quick bite before a Ryanair or Wizz Air hop. Don’t expect table service or made-to-order hot meals here; it’s more grab-and-go than lingering café.

Service runs in line with flight waves, so Coffee Corner typically opens ahead of the first departures of the day and stays open until the last evening flights leave T2, often around 22:00–23:00. That said, hours can shift with the schedule, and late-night travelers on delayed departures sometimes report only vending machines still running in this terminal. If you have a very late flight, buy your drink or snack earlier in the evening as you pass through.

There’s limited seating close to Coffee Corner in T2, and power outlets around these seats can be scarce during banked departures. Expect to stand in a short queue around boarding times, especially 60–90 minutes before flights to popular sun destinations. If you care more about finding a seat than queue position, walk the few meters toward the gates first and backtrack only when you’re ready to order.

Practical tip: if your bag is under the liquid limits, consider buying a bottle of water here in T2’s Coffee Corner rather than landside, so you’re not forced to bin it at security and re-buy.
