5 minutes from Terminals 2 and 3, P8 is basic outdoor parking
P8 sits on the south side of Copenhagen Airport, roughly a 5-minute walk from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 check-in. It’s an open-air lot with marked spaces only, no multi-storey structure, so you park at ground level and walk in. If you like to see your car from the road and skip elevators and ramps, this layout helps.
This lot is in the “budget” group of CPH parking, priced below the closer on-site options like P4 and P6 by several hundred DKK on a week-long stay. It works best for trips of 3–14 days where shaving the daily rate matters more than being right at the terminal doors. Payment is by license plate recognition, and you can pre-book online to lock in the lower tariffs.
P8 is uncovered, so your car sits in the open through Denmark’s rain and winter snow. If the forecast shows several wet days in a row and you care about the car staying dry, pay the extra for one of the covered garages closer to T3. In summer, the lack of shade also means a hotter cabin when you return, especially on south-facing rows.
The walking route from P8 to CPH runs along signed pedestrian paths and takes around 5–7 minutes to Terminal 3 and about 6–8 minutes to Terminal 2, depending on which row you park in. Luggage trolleys are usually parked near the main pedestrian exits; bring a 10- or 20-krone coin just in case the trolley system at your aisle needs it.
One last tip: for early departures before 07:00, aim to park in the rows closest to the main access road, so the walk to check-in at Terminal 3 stays under 5 minutes even in bad weather.
