Electric Vehicle Parking

Charging area

11 kW and 22 kW chargers cover most EVs at CPH

Electric Vehicle Parking at Copenhagen Airport sits in the main parking facilities serving Terminals 2 and 3, so you can plug in and walk to check-in in a few minutes. Stalls are signed as EV/ladestandere, and you pay standard CPH parking rates on top of charging costs. This is regular airport parking with charging points, not a separate secure garage.

Most chargers here run at AC 11 kW or 22 kW, which is fine if your car stays for several hours or a full day. That output suits longer trips more than quick top‑ups before a short hop to Oslo or Stockholm. Plan for several hours to go from a low state of charge to something close to full on a mid‑size battery.

Access works like the rest of Copenhagen Airport parking: drive into the signed car parks, follow the EV symbols, and park only in marked charging bays. Terminals 2 and 3 are within walking distance, so there’s no shuttle delay to factor into your schedule. Check your airline and terminal in advance; SAS and Star Alliance long‑haul typically use Terminal 3.

Charging is billed through the operator connected to each unit, which may differ between rows. Scan the QR code or tap your RFID card at the charger, then confirm the price per kWh before you leave the car. In Denmark, public AC charging often runs in the DKK 3–5 per kWh range, but rates at CPH can sit higher than your local supermarket charger.

Tip: Aim to arrive 30–40 minutes earlier than usual if you need an EV bay near Terminal 3, as the better‑located spots fill first on weekday mornings.
