250 meters from Terminal 3, P6 is the main CPH garage
P6 sits about 250 meters from Copenhagen Airport’s Terminal 3 and works well if you want covered parking close to check-in. It’s a multi-level garage, so your car stays under a roof in Denmark’s rain, and you can walk to Terminals 2 and 3 in just a few minutes. Signage on the airport ring road clearly points to P6, so you don’t have to loop around looking for the entrance.
P6 is open 24/7 and connects to the terminal area with marked pedestrian paths, which are lit at night and gritted in winter. The walk from the far end of the garage to Terminal 3 typically runs 5–7 minutes at a normal pace. Elevators in the garage make it workable with heavy luggage or a stroller, and there are stairs beside them if you want to move faster.
This is a park-and-walk setup with no shuttle bus, and that’s the main advantage over the more distant CPH lots. You pay airport rates here, so it tends to price above the long-stay surface options, especially close to busy periods like July and Christmas. Booking online through Copenhagen Airport can lock in a cheaper daily rate than just turning up and pulling a ticket at the barrier.
P6 offers standard spaces rather than extra-large bays, and it can feel tight if you drive a bigger SUV. Lighting is solid on all levels, but lower floors often fill first, pushing late arrivals to higher decks. If you care about exit speed, park near the ramps facing the main exit rather than near the pedestrian exits to the terminal.
Tip: if you’re checking in at Terminal 2 but parking in P6, add 5 extra minutes to cross the terminal building from the Terminal 3 side.
