Clarion’s lounge sits landside between Terminals 2 and 3
This is the executive-style lounge inside the Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport, physically attached to the terminal complex between CPH Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. It’s a hotel lounge first, not a standard Priority Pass or airline lounge, so it rarely shows up in lounge maps when people plan their time at Kastrup.
The lounge sits landside, so you access it before security, via the Clarion hotel lobby that connects directly to Terminal 3 in under 5 minutes on foot. That makes it workable if you land into CPH, have several hours before an evening departure, and want a quieter spot than the public terminal seating or the busy Starbucks by Track 2 of the train station.
Access is simple: you either stay at the Clarion Hotel or pay in at the front desk, where staff confirm your room key or take payment in Danish kroner. There’s no tie-in to specific airlines, and no need for elite status with SAS, Star Alliance, or any credit card network; this is separate from the SAS Lounge and the Eventyr Lounge that both sit airside in Terminal 3.
Expect a small hotel-club setup rather than a full hot buffet: typically cold snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee, plus some light bites at standard Nordic hotel hours that roughly track breakfast and early evening. Alcohol policies vary by hotel package and local regulation, so ask at check-in; don’t assume the same open bar you’d get in a top-tier airline lounge.
If you care most about showering right after a long-haul into CPH, the edge here is that the Clarion gives you access to full hotel bathrooms and, with a day room, proper beds rather than the limited showers in the main terminal lounges. Walking from Terminal 2 baggage reclaim to the hotel lobby takes around 6–8 minutes, even with a roller bag.
Value depends on your day: paying a flat fee here can make more sense than buying two or three separate coffees and snacks in the public area of Terminal 3, where a single latte can run 40–50 DKK. If you’re connecting airside in under 90 minutes, skip this and head straight for an airside lounge instead; the landside detour and security queue can eat most of your buffer.
Tip: If you plan to use the Clarion lounge before a non-Schengen flight, aim to leave the hotel at least 60 minutes before boarding to clear security in Terminal 3 and walk to the C-gates without rushing.
