Bijouterie

T1

Near T1 passport control, Bijouterie is your jewelry stop

Right after security in Terminal T1, Bijouterie shows up as one of the few spots focused only on jewelry and small accessories. You’re past the point of rushing for liquids, so this is more of a “I have 10–15 minutes” kind of stop. Expect classic airport pricing, not local-street-bazaar deals, but you do get everything in one place without leaving the secure area.

The shop leans into gold and silver pieces, plus watch bands and small gift items you can actually fit in a cabin bag. Think earrings, bracelets, simple necklaces and gift-boxed items that work as a last-minute present before a Royal Air Maroc or other international departure from T1. If you care about hallmarks or stone quality, ask directly at the counter; staff usually speak at least French and often English.

Payment runs on the standard airport mix: cards, Moroccan dirhams, and often euros accepted at a fixed in-store rate. You pay more than you would in downtown Casablanca, but you trade that for being 5–10 minutes from most T1 gates instead of 45 minutes on the train. Keep an eye on the receipt if you’re spending over 1,000 MAD, in case you want it for travel insurance or customs questions later.

One practical tip: check your gate on the screens right outside Bijouterie before you start comparing pieces. Some non-Schengen flights out of T1 start boarding 45 minutes ahead, and CMN security plus an extra document check near the gate can eat that buffer faster than you think.
