Snacks and Chocolates Shop

Jeju’s tangerine sweets dominate this Snacks and Chocolates Shop

Inside Terminal 1’s domestic departures zone at Jeju International, this Snacks and Chocolates Shop leans hard into local souvenirs: boxed tangerine chocolates, citrus caramels, and Jeju-branded cookies stacked floor to eye level. Expect mostly grab-and-go items sized for carry-on space, with prices for small snack packs starting around a few thousand KRW and going up for gift-ready multi-box sets.

The shop sits airside after security in T1, on the short walk toward domestic gates, so you can buy right before boarding your Seoul, Busan, or Daegu hop. Shelves focus on prepackaged sweets and chocolates rather than fresh food, in line with reviews saying “Jeju snacks” are basically what this airport sells. If you want non-edible souvenirs or duty-free liquor, you’ll have to look elsewhere in the terminal.

Peak crowding hits in the late afternoon bank of domestic departures, when several flights leave within 60–90 minutes of each other and popular orange-box sweets can sell out. Reviews call the airport “very busy” for its size, and that shows here: narrow aisles, lines of 5–10 people, and staff restocking tangerine items mid-rush. If you’re picky about specific Jeju brands or flavors, shop earlier in the day.

Watch out for overbuying heavy gift boxes; three or four larger sets can easily add 2–3 kg to your cabin bag and eat into stricter domestic carry-on limits. One practical move: walk the full shop once, pick one signature Jeju tangerine chocolate box for gifting, then add smaller mixed snack packs near the register so you don’t blow your snack budget in the first 30 seconds.
