Long-Term Parking at Charlottesville Albemarle (CHO) runs $13.00 per day and sits about 0.3 miles from Terminal T. It’s the lot most locals use once they’re gone more than a day, because it undercuts Short-Term rates while staying close enough that the walk still feels easy with a rollaboard.

The walk clocks in around 5 minutes from the deeper rows to the terminal doors, and multiple Google reviewers back that up, calling it “much easier” than the long hauls at bigger hubs. Sight lines are clear: the lot sits directly behind Short-Term, so you can see the terminal the whole way and just follow the flow toward T.

If you land in the far rows or arrive with heavy bags, the CHO Connector shuttle runs a loop that includes the Long-Term stops. It operates from before the first departure of the day until after the last arrival, and the ride is roughly 2 minutes door to door, so you’re not stuck if the weather turns or you misjudge distance.

CHO notes that elevator service is available from the Long-Term area for luggage transfer, hinting that at least some spaces sit on a small elevated deck rather than only flat surface stalls. That’s useful if you’re rolling a 50‑lb checked bag and trying to avoid wrestling it up a curb before heading into Terminal T.

Watch out for the transition between Short-Term and Long-Term near the entrance; a few reviewers say the boundary line and signs are not super obvious, and they ended up closer to the terminal than planned with a higher bill. Regulars often just roll into Long-Term for even 1–2‑day trips, skip the shuttle, and walk in 5 minutes.
